Caring for the health and protection of its employees, ATB Corporation has allocated more than UAH 3 million for the purchase of personal protective equipment for employees of the ATB distribution network.

To provide more than 66 thousand employees, ATB Corporation purchased 200 thousand personal protective equipment in China and will hand them over to the employees of the corporation in the coming days. In the future the company plans to purchase 100 thousand units of such products weekly until the situation with the spread of coronavirus infection is fully resolved.

Given the shortage of such funds that currently exists in the country, ATB Corporation purchases everything on the market today, subject to the availability of relevant documents and product certificates. The company also appeals to everyone who can help with the purchase of personal protective equipment for our employees, who daily support the normal operation of the largest Ukrainian retail chain, helping Ukrainians meet all their current needs for everyday goods.

Warehouse and logistic infrastructure of the company today operate in an enhanced mode, which allows daily to provide a familiar assortment of ATB stores. To ensure the smooth functioning of ATB stores during restrictions on movement in public transport, the company organized its own system for delivering employees to work.

As part of the adoption of anti-epidemic measures, ATB-Market has developed a mechanism for ordering goods with home delivery to reduce the need for buyers to leave their homes and help avoid crowds in trading floors. After the pilot implementation of this project, it will be scaled throughout Ukraine. In addition, in conjunction with central and regional government bodies and social welfare agencies, ATB Corporation is developing mechanisms to provide socially vulnerable categories of the population and elderly people with food packages to also minimize their needs to leave their homes, putting themselves at risk of illness.
